MelaFix Pond 16oz

This product is an antibacterial remedy for the treatment of Koi and Goldfish diseases. It treats ulcers and open wounds, rapidly repairs damaged fins, and treats fin and tail rot. Use when introducing new fish. It will not harm the biological filter. It is safe for snails and other invertebrates, aquatic plants, and domestic animals or other wildlife. Shake well before using.
· For recent wounds, fin damage, or infection, add one teaspoon (5 mL) for every 50 US gallons (190 L) or 1/4 cup (60 mL) for every 600 US gallons (2,280 L) of pond water.

·When treating for advanced or chronic infection, add two teaspoons (10 mL) for every 50 US gallons (190 L) or 1/4 cup (60 mL) for every 300 US gallons (1,140 L) of pond water.

· When adding new fish or when netting or handling fish, add two teaspoons (10 ml) for every 50 US gallons (190 L) or 1/4 cup (60 ml) for every 300 US gallons (1,140 L) of pond water.
It is usually best to remove carbon filtration. Melafix Pond has been tested and found compatible with other Aquarium Pharmaceutical’s medications, though not recommended to be combined with other brands.
